Do you require to meet us and the animal before providing services?
Yes it is my policy to do a meet and greet before consideration of providing services. This is important for not only myself but you as the owner and for your animal to get to know me and see if we are the right fit.

Does my pet have to be neutered?
It is preferred.

Does my pet need to have a full current vaccine?
Yes please.

Will you walk my dog off lead?
Yes I will walk your dog off lead with your permission, once we have bonded and I am comfortable with the dogs recall.

Will you walk puppies?
Yes I will walk puppies above 6 months who are lead trained and fully up to date on their vaccines.

Will you walk a dog who is unsociable?
Yes provided it is safe to do so. If at any point I feel that for my safety and the dogs safety they require a muzzle I will discuss this with you and this will have to put in place before future walks.

Will you provide services for an X Bully?
I will absolutely provide care or walks for an X Bully. I do not discriminate against any breed. As per the law clients will have to provide all documentation including exemption certificate and proof of public liability insurance. The dog must also be fully muzzle trained and able to lead walk without pulling.

Will you let my dog off the lead?
Yes once bonded with me and only with the consent of the owner.

Will you provide care if my animal is on medication?
Absolutely! I have 4 years experience in veterinary care and so am well-versed in administering oral or topical medications. ​

Will you provide updates on my pet while you are walking/ visiting or sitting them?
I will absolutely provide you with updates. I will bombard you with photos and videos if you would like. I often post fun things on the business Facebook, Instagram and TikTok so look out for those!

What will you do if my pet is sick or injured in your care?
I will inform you or the emergency contact ASAP. If I am walking them I have a little first aid kit that I keep on me at all times and a larger one in the car to provide immediate care.
I will continuously monitor your pets health and if I notice any changes in behaviour or points of concern I will inform you and continue to monitor.
If they should need veterinary care whilst in my care (hopefully not!) I will take them to your registered practice or OOH service. If I am unable to do so I will take them to my registered practice. Any treatment required will be approved by you or your emergency contact. All receipts of treatment will be provided so the bill can be settled on your return.

How will you keep my house keys secure?
I will keep clients colour coded with no identifiable information securely in my home until needed.

Terms & Conditions

I reserve the right to cancel my services at anytime if I feel that it is in the best interests of myself and/ or your animal/s.​

Any cancellations made by the owner are subject to a cancellation fee. ​

​Cancellations 1 week prior to the booking will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.​

Cancellations any less than 1 week prior to the booking are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.​

Cancellations on the day of the booking will require full payment.​

For block bookings a 50% deposit must be paid in advance to secure the booking. This will be non- returnable if a cancellation is made any less than a week in advance of the booking.​

I require payment before completion of services unless a prior agreement has been made.​

If an incident occurs due to misleading information provided by the owner, then the owner will be held entirely responsible.

The owner is responsible for the cost of any veterinary treatment that is required the pet is in my care.

Insurance and DBS Details
I am fully insured through Pet Business Insurance. A copy of this policy can be provided on request.
My Policy covers the following:

Pet sitting/Care

Dog walking (A maximum of 6 Dogs at one time.)

If your dog has an accident and injures themselves

If your dog attacks or injures another dog

If your dog is attacked or injured by another dog

If your dog attacks a person (adult or child)

Replacement locks & keys (should I mislay your key)

Caring for animals in their own home (Dogs, cats, Rabbits and Guinea pigs)
*Please note, ALL claims made for your pet will be subject to a £100 excess charge which is payable by the owner*

I have a basic DBS check to confirm I have no criminal convictions, a copy of which can be shown should you wish to see it.
